Project Funding

Fees

School daytime fees are listed in our catalog.  Evening, weekend and non-school fees are different.
Please call for details. Travel fees are additional and apply for most artists.

MSAC Arts-in-Education Program

Plan early to request Maryland State Arts Council’s (MSAC) Arts-in-Education (AiE) Visiting Performers Program funding. This grant covers up to 1/3 of the cost of performance + travel for up to 3 different productions per year at Maryland schools and educational institutions presenting MSAC roster artists. MSAC offers artist residency funding, too. Look for “MSAC AiE funds may be available” for participating artists.

The Class Acts Arts Bridge Fund

Launched with support from a parent donor, the Class Acts Arts Bridge Fund provides funding to “bridge the gap” to bring a program to an underserved community. This money is available to be used with ANY artists and can cover up to 1/3 of the performance fees at eligible venues.

Local Arts Councils

County arts councils often have grants available to bring performance and residencies to schools and community organizations. Their websites are a good place to start for information and deadlines and can be found on our Arts Resource Center page.
