With uplifting, toe-tapping music, the rich traditions and culture of pre-revolution Russia come alive with this troupe of three classically trained musicians and dancers who present engaging music, vibrant dance, comedy and interaction. Using many traditional Russian instruments, brilliant costumes and a vast repertoire of athletic dances, these artists will bring to life the exhilarating tales of their culture and heritage. The Barynya ensemble, founded in 1991 by Mikhail Smirnov, includes only the best performers who hail from world-renowned Russian dance and music companies.
