Artist:
Tracey Eldridge and Company

Description:

Tracey traces the evolution of American music to its origins in the Old World. With regional songs, dances and instrumentation she transports her audience across time to illustrate how the nation's diverse cultural heritages have found voice in music. American history and geography have never been more fun or more fascinating!  This program can be adjusted to emphasize specific historical periods or geographic regions.  A Teaching Artist Institute graduate, Tracey brings musical joy to all. Preschool programs are also available.
