"This is my fortieth year of teaching public school music and I was
VERY impressed with "Bon Appetit! The show was one of the
most educational and entertaining performances that we have had."

BON APPETIT!

MUSICAL FOOD FUN with Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer

Program Fees: $1400 single show/$1600 two shows back-to-back

Songs from the GRAMMY© winning CD "Bon Appetit!" ( Best Musical Album for Children, 2004)

This collection of good humor songs celebrates healthy eating, healthy kids and the fun of food. The interactive concert includes sing-along songs in many different musical styles, developed after much research and consultation with children's nutritionists from the World Bank, the USDA and the Center for Science in the Public Interest. Cathy & Marcy rock out with "The Food Pyramid," jazz it up in "Breakfast Power" and use Celtic sounds to encourage drinking 6 glasses of water a day. A Hula Hoop contest to Big Band swing music reminds us that exercise is fun both indoors and out. Songs are accompanied on guitar, five-string banjo, steel drum and mandolin.
