Acclaimed Israeli-American storyteller Noa Baum cultivates understanding and compassion through stories from her rich heritage and other cultures. Travel the world with tales of courage and hope in Choosing Peace: Multicultural Tales to Ponder or with folktales and myths in Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Meet Greek heroes and monsters in Ancient Glories (gr. 3+). Her "characters counts" story elements illustrate loyalty, helpfulness, empathy and trustworthiness. Secondary students discover complex emotions and history in A Land Twice Promised (gr. 7+) as Noa relives her heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman, interweaving their memories and their mothers’ stories. A Parent's Choice winner, Noa has also earned regional theatrical awards. Performance highlights: Kennedy Center, Mayo Clinic, Jewish Museum of NYC.
